Polar Fuel runs its Auto Fill program slightly different than the average company. We deliver to our Auto Fill customers on a monthly delivery schedule depending on their fuel usage. Customers using less than 100 gallons of heating fuel per month may be scheduled for oil delivery every other month rather than monthly. We deliver once a month during the months of October to April; we skip May, June, July, make a delivery in August and skip September.

We started this schedule back in the late 90's when we went through a price spike similar to what we are experiencing now; it seams to work well for our customers. It gives the Polar Fuel customer a smaller delivery and a dollar amount that they can handle within their household budgets and on a predictable schedule.

It also protects the consumer from wild price swings that can happen over periods of time. The Polar Fuel Auto Fill customer takes an average delivery of 177 gals per delivery, a little more in the depths of winter, a little less in the spring month and fall. This allows our customers to cost average their fuel in the tank and to plan for the winter months in a predictable manner.

Polar Fuel protects its Auto fill customers with 24 hour service. If for any reason your system ceases to function there is always a live voice on our phone. After hours calls a routed to a live answering service who will page our on call personnel who will have access to your basic data and can help you work through the problem. We strive to contact you within ten minutes of your call, and if needed have the fuel truck on your doorstep within thirty. If you are in need of actual furnace work we have two providers that you can choose between who will respond to your call promptly.
